Singapore----------Day 4

The fourth day.

Accompanied by aunty Sharron, my uncle's wife and a Singapore citizen, we went to many places. Firstly, me and my mother took the MRT to Toa Payoh, the place we agreed to meet each other. Aunty Sharron was quite punctual, although a few minutes late. But hey.....thinks are unpredictable. Anything could have happened in the last minute. So we did not make a fuss about that.

Toa Payoh is a place for tourist from Malaysia. Goods there are relatively cheap. Two bottles of shampoo for $6. Convert it to Malaysia ringgit and it is around RM13-17. If you think this is expensive, you are seriously and mentally wrong. We had our lunch there. Foods were delicious. Then, my mother and aunty Sharron went and looked the girl stuffs. I was bored, but I did not express it.

We didn't stay Toa Payoh for long. Then, from Toa Payoh, we took the MRT straight to Changi Airport.

I just wanted to have a glimpse of Changi Airport. And yep, a few pictures had been snapped.

This is the place where you are ready to embark the plane.

Decorations are quite beautiful.

Weirdly, Changi Airport wasn't crowded. We could see only a few people. My mother and aunty Sharron were both boring. They, somehow, like to use the skytrain in the airport to move from one station to another. Skytrain is somewhat like the MRT, just smaller and connecting shorter distance. Next, go check up what this is:

The Merlion!
From Changi Airport we took the MRT to City Hall and walked to the Merlion. There was a distance, it consumed some time. Nevertheless, we ambled along the road and reached the Merlion.

An going-to-be casino. Currently in construction.
Aunty Sharron then bought us tea time. She brought us to Coffee Bean, and bought three cups of coffees and two slices of cakes. And guess what, it cost $20++. Wow! She then chatted with my mother. The conversation will be posted later. Next, we went to Chinatown!

It was around 6.30pm. My cousins, Sha Jie, decided to accompany us. It was great. I could learn to socialise by chatting more with her. Cousins Bryan decided to follow to. We took MRT from City Hall interchange to Dhoby Ghaut interchange, then took the MRT from Dhoby Ghaut and alight at Chinatown.

I'm pretty sure it will be more beautiful during Chinese New Year.

We have our dinner there, in a restaurant, and the food there was indescribeable. Very...very delicious. In Chinatown, you will feel yourself in China. Everybody there speaks with a strong China's accent. After dinner, we went to Clarke Quay.

Picture's quality is not good. sorry.

Clarke Quay is one of the tourist's attraction. Many restaurants are built there. The Singapore River in Clarke Quay has been featured in many Singapore drama. I should have snapped more pictures. After that, we were all soaked in sweat and took the MRT. While upon MRT, I had a chat with cousin Bryan, and the conversation will be posted later. After that, I bid goodbye to all my cousins and aunty and went back to my uncle's house, bathed, and had a wonderful sleep.
