Comic Shop

I couldn't remember when was the last time I went to QQ Comic Shop. Since I was bored staying at home, I decided to walk to the comic shop which is not far from my house. When I was there, I was completely soaked in sweat. You couldn't blame me, right? It was a sunny day as I ambled along the street in noon.

Initially I wanted to buy a bottle of mineral water, but I was told that they had runned out of stock. I couldn't have a bottle of water to quench my thrist and I didn't want to buy a can of soft drink to make myself diabetic.

I had been sitting there for hours without realizing so, and I had spent a number of 50 cents to read comics. I read the newest Detective Conan vol.67, which I had wanted for months. Finally huh? Then I borrowed two books, both of them were chinese books. “杀手" by 九把刀 seemed to be a hit, it has been on the top best-selling list in Taiwan, if I was not mistaken. Intrigued by the title and the novel written by the author, I couldn't subdue my enthusiasm and eventually borrowed it. I just hope it would not let me down.

Sick

It's good to wake up bright and early. But my father is sick, presumably food poisoning, he has been puking for quite few times and had called on a doctor. What the doctor prescribed were just cough syrups to relieve the cough and few medicine for vomiting. But my father said he lacks antibiotic that is effective in killing the bacteria that caused food poisoning. I don't know. I don't give a damn what are they doing. I just hope he can get better. I am forced to skip the school to take care of my father who is now weak. Sorry to my friends who I gave my words to that I will be in school today. This is inevitable.

The Time Traveller's Wife movie has just been released in Malaysia. This is my second most anticipated movie, behind New Moon, Twilight sequal. I love the novel of this show, I just hope the movie did well. I'm not a fan of Michael Jackson, therefore I'm not keen to watch Michael Jackson This Is It. I don't know what is special about his singing except that he can do an almost impossible moonwalk. Ah, my friend has just come back from Thailand. Geez you have no idea how desperate I am to travel. I didn't even have a chance to go to an airport just to see a sight of aeroplane. In retrospect I am afraid of taking a flight, I'm always afraid of plane crash, particularly after sighting the scene in Lost. Addiction to tv dramas.................. But now, no....Now I wish so badly I have a chance to travel...........

Playing Truant

It's been pointless staying at school, so I decided to cut class and lie in the house. To my chagrin, I woke up at 8.00am. I planned to sleep till 10.00am, but I woke up two hours earlier~~~~

Finish 2 episodes of Crime Buster x2 this morning. I love this drama, and I love the suspense too. The episodes I watched were the 7th and the 8th, where the team was trying to uncover the truth behind the lies. Two sisters were embroiled in a love triangle, where them, who were a famous singer in Singapore getai, fought over a man and eventually one of them was killed. More lies and brutal were uncovered while the team was digging deaper. Finally the case was solved. So far I have finished two cases, I think there are at least 3 more cases to go. I love it. Oh, did I mention Joshua Ang appeared in the show. Joshua Ang is a famous actor who stars in I Not Stupid. Sadly, his appearance did not last for 3 minutes. Just a cameo. He played Doggy, the protagonist ex-partner who was killed by surgical maniac, the main antagonist of the show. He had indirectly caused the death of Doggy when he stormed into a building to arrest a killer without backup help.

I played badminton yesterday. It was a great day. It had been a while since I last played badminton.

I went to pasar malam too. It was not crowded, many more have gone to "jiu wang ye"...my mother bought a watermelon, and it costs a surprisingly RM13.50 for one watermelon!!! Wow! This is really an eye-opener.

Hot!!

Friday is also a pun meaning "fry day". I finally know what it means. Here goes the story...

Today is Friday. Friday is the end of the weekdays and my mum decide to take me to Aeon Jusco to have our dinner. Well, my father has a wedding dinner, so he couldn't accompany us to Jusco to have dinner. My sister is, however, in university located more than 100km from BM. At first I'm all keyed up about going to Jusco. Outside foods taste so much better than my mother's cooking, albeit dirtier.

When we step our foot in Jusco, we are dumbfounded. Something is wrong. The ambient temperature is unusually high and the air is stuffy. To our chagrin, The air conditioner broke down. WTF?? God!! It's boiling in there. We couldn't do anything but endure it. We then go to a restaurant and order our dinner. Before our dinner is served, we are all drenched in sweat. Trust me. You will not be able to imagine how hot is in there. The temperature is also evident by the people in Jusco. It is usually crowded, but today is the contrary. We couldn't stay there anymore and we flee after we finished our dinner.

On the way out, I saw a friend of mine who is currently working there, accepting a part-time job. She told me the air conditioner broke down since morning and it has been hours after the air conditioner is out of order. They are all perspiring and they wish badly they could get back home early. Pity~~

After hours of thinking, I decide not to go to school next Monday. School is now boring and meaningless. Geez, I rather stay at home sleeping.....

Crime Buster x2

I have been whining about how boring my life is. Luckily, I am not the special one, because most of my friends feel bored staying at home too. If you are exasperated about me whining about how boring my life is, please leave a comment.

I found a quite-interesting Singapore television drama, Crime Buster x2. It's been a while since I last watched a chinese drama. The gap has lasted for few months and it is time to stop it. I have watched 3 episodes so far, going to the climax of the first part. I love it. Singapore drama is always full with excitement. It's a crime drama, and also quite funny. I you haven't watched it, please do. I think you can watch it on tudou.com. While you're watching the show, take note of the subtitles. Geez I wish I have a english as good as a singaporean...
Should I go to school tomorrow? I am sitting in front of the desk pondering over the idea. Just when I decide I should skip the school, I realize I have not hand in my SMM form. Damn!

Class Selection

A talk was given yesterday, asking us to select a particular choice to study for our form 4 year. All of us are given two choices, science or economy. And then each selection is branched into three. For science class Malay, English, Chinese, Maths, Add. Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Moral and Sejarah are compulsory. Biology, ICT and Chinese Literature are not compulsary, but we still need to pick one. Well, my ambition is to become a pharmacist, or anything involving organism, so it is undoubted that I will choose Biology. But some of my friends choose ICT instead. Sad~~

Next year is gonna be tough, burning the midnight oil for whole year until either we are exhausted or running out of fuel. I will not choose to further my chinese by choosing to study about Chinese Literature. I hate Chinese history, it is full with gobbledygook that will only make me utterly perplexed. I'm not keen about ICT, and Loo Soo Yong is the second reason why I don't choose ICT. He is the embodiment of international computer hacker, he is able to manipulate the computer system and cause massive breakdown and damage. What he did last year is a prime example. He destroyed the school computer system by deleting the Norton GoBack, and the school had to beg him to repair the computers....

Eventually I choose Biology, so does a majority of students.

"Boring!" is the word exclaimed by almost all my friends in my school. They are bored. Imagine yourself playing UNO and chess for few hours nonstop, what will it be? Deadly boring. I'm gonna start to sweat out, it's better than sitting in the class.

Aeon Jusco, Here I Come Again

Pretty sure Jusco is now feeling sick seeing me there again. I went there two days ago and today I retrace my steps there. Jusco was crowded, many people were milling around and bantering, and I stumbled upon some of my friends. I went to Jusco accompanied by my friend, anonymously known as Jack. We intended to watch only a movie, but addiction to movie watching has inadvertently caused us to watch a second film, so I spent RM18 on watching movie today. The first film we watched was Surrogate, a science-fiction movie starring Bruce Willis. The second film we watched was Pandorum, a science fiction/horror film starring Ben Foster. None of them made me interested.

Gotta go, I am now totally absorbed into "The Time Traveler's Wife".

The Time Traveler's Wife

It's just a ordinary day where I am spending my time brooding about what to do. Well, brooding is supposed to have consume time, right? Well, this morning, what I saw in the school had left me dumbfounded. I think there were less than 300 form 3 students present, and only 22 students were there in my class. "22 students" were actually false, because most of them were like vanished into thin air, they were only seen during the first class.

Again, I went to Pacific aka Megamall Pinang. I was there with my family, and I went to Popular bookstore to select a book to buy. You might wonder why I was buying another book when I had just bought True Singapore Ghost Stories yesterday. Well, you see, I'm bored, even now after PMR, I still bored, so I have finished that book. I wandered my eyes at the shelves in the bookstores, and I was attracted by a book titled "The Time Traveler's Wife". I have heard of the book, it received a lot of positive ratings, and also made into a movie with the same name.

The Time Traveler's Wife is a story of Clare and Henry who met when Clare was six and Henry was thirty-six, and were married when Clare was twenty-two and Henry thirty. Impossible but true, because Henry suffers from a rare condition where his genetic clock periodically resets. Sounds interesting huh? I was totally hooked on and decided to buy the book. Now I have something time-consuming to do. Oh, I also went to a DVD shop. All of the disc that were pirated. I bought a 3-in-1 horror movies collection, together with a series of X-men.

Hanging out with my friend in JUSCO tomorrow. He, anonymously known as Jack, will decide a movie for us to watch. I'm not all keyed up about watching a movie, but since I'm always bored staying at home, I think I'll endure it.

What the hell?????

Oh my god! This is too much to call a mistake. I scored 76 for my english, and yet the school system rated me as fail. What the hell? Is 76 considered failed? What the hell??? Oh my god!!! Come On!!!

I went to Jusco aka Aeon Seberang Perai Mall, again. The mall was not crowded, and I bumped into Lim Jia Xin, my classmate. I went to Jusco to buy another storybook, and as you might expected, I bought the True Singapore Ghost Stories series. Disappointed to say that were only a few choices for me to select a particular storybook to buy. Oh, I bought a cup of "spicy flavour corn in cup". Honestly, they sucks. They tasted awful.

I was told by my friend that the result of ICAS English was out, and the certificate had already distributed to english teachers. That startled me. The result was out?? Well, I went to look for my english teacher but all to no avail. Then only I realized my english wasn't in school. I realized I couldn't do that paper when I sat for the test. For now, my highest target is scoring 30 out of 60, although deep in my heart I know the chances of me getting more than 25 is minuscule. Well, I would just probably sit for the test again next year.

Land of Milk and Honey

After few days struggling for PMR, finally I have a chance to frolic around. I wouldn't need to worry about anything. Oh, maybe I should said I did quite badly for my chinese. For the second paper. But the mistake seems minor. Hopefully whoever who marks the paper will show some mercy.

Everyone let out a whoop after the last paper. So did I, but inwardly. I did not know what to do as my life is always boring. Ah...maybe I will indulge myself in computer games.

Just another boring day

Feel sick and boring stuck in my house for the whole day, unable to do anything except sitting on the chair and facing tons of books. I hate reading. Feeling puke right now.

I went to Megamall yesterday. I wasn't very happy about that so-called shopping, because my father kept complaining and critizing the lack of maintenance and said the mall looks dilapidated. And he also felt insecure walking in the dark as many shops are not open. Couldn't see any people milling around, felt more like going to an abandoned building. Probably just because it was a Friday night.

Oh, I went to Popular and bought True Singapore Ghost Stories. I'm keen to read the book. I love to read the book whenever my family goes to shopping complex. The book is not cheap, it cost RM16. Probably given a 10% discount if you are holding a member card.

Second day of Hell

It's the second day me spending time in hell. Five more days left. Today I sat for English and Science.

English was a cinch, but yet I got one wrong for the objective questiosn....paper 2 was ok. Science paper 1 was ok, luck was on my side as I did not get any mistakes. I scored 40 questions correct!! Yep!! But science paper 2.......

Don't really want to say. Way to difficult. Particularly the questions about pollination and stability. What the hell were they talking about? What they wanted actually? I don't know. I don't want to know. I don't even want to care. All I wanted is 8As...which is quite impossible right now as I made a mistake in BM Kertas 2. Don't know is it acceptable but....no big hope.

Tomorrow having Geography. The easiest paper of all. Pretty sure I can get an A but I can't be overconfidence. Once again I've to plough through the books to score an A. Well, good luck me!

First day of Penilaian Menendah Rendah

It's been a while since I last sat for a public examination, that was when I was 12, or primary 6. I was having UPSR that time and luckily, I scored 7As. I was befuddled and flabbergasted with what I got. It never ever crossed my mind I would score straight As in UPSR.

Today, first day of my hell, I was going to sit for BM, which is always my weakest subject. I love BM and in the same time I hate BM. Love BM because it is unique, and I hate BM because it is confusing. I always confused about how to used imbuhan. And I hate that! And more importantly, I hate novel! It is actually pointless learning novel if none of us wants to plough through the book. Who wants to read the novels anyway? What difference is there between novel and sejarah? It is the same, containing all the mumbo jumbo about Malayan Union, UMNO. Boring.

For today BM, in my opinion, was so difficult that it beggared description. For paper 2...well...still ok...I can't say I can't do it...But paper 1..........as I said, first step to hell....

Having English and Science tomorrow. English is so far my strongest subject, but I can't be overconfidence though.

Sorry I can't upload any images yet. I still a beginner, still trying to explore this blog. Anyway it will take a lot of time, and if there is anyone who can tell me how to place the shoutbox at the side instead of at the bottom of this blog, I would be indebted to you.

Gotta go, I don't want to fail any subject....
