Embarrassed

It's very awkward. This afternoon, while I was on my way to my mother's car, someone yelled my name and waved to me repeatedly from a car. I was stunned, and I stood there stock-still. I tried to get a good look of his face (voice was a he) but to no avail. Therefore, I gave him an awkward smile, and I was pretty sure my eyes were radiating my surprise. I have no clue who that is, he looked so eager and ebullient! I'm very sorry to that guy and I really hope I know who that person is........It's so embarrassing! Please accept my sincere apologies for the rudeness (albeit unintentionally) and please don't mind my indifference at the moment. I was really, really floored and my mind went completely blank..........
