My mum brought me to Pathlab to do a blood test. My father is a Hepatitis B carrier, but not a sufferer. A carrier does not manifest any symptoms but a sufferer does. Therefore, my mum brought me to test for Hepatitis B antibodies in my blood. If my blood does not have the antibodies needed to fight the infection, I'll need an injection, or passive immunity, to ensure I will not be infected. And I saw my blood gushing into the syringe. It look awesome! And no, I'm not a masochist. Results will be out two days later! I hope the antibodies are still present. Pray!
