Class Test 2, Day 3
First paper for the day: BM. 60% mark for Rumusan, 40% mark for Peribahasa. Everyone has a 50% chance to fail this paper, and another 50% chance to pass it, but nobody in this universe can get 100 for it. Well, everybody has expected this, so I guess if we fail this paper, none of us would be terribly despondent. Second paper for the day: Moral. 20x5=100, what's the point? Anyway, the paper was fine, at least much better than last year's second monthly test. That paper left all of us confounded. Third paper for the day: Chemistry. The name 'TPS' is ominous, a harbinger of failing the paper actually. And turn out, my sixth sense is spot-on. The questions in the paper are so odd, and no publication or books even give that type of question, and it actually takes a teacher to go around the school to tell all students that the question is actually correct and nothing is omitted, meaning we can answer the question. Incredible! I've never seen this condition in 5 years.

Class Test 2, Day 2
Thank god, we will be sitting for only one paper today, and the paper is Additional Mathematics. The good news is that only one chapter is being tested, but the bad news would be the entire class sucks at it, owing to the scarcity of time and mind-challenging questions. Well, I'll just say I waltz through the exam. It was a cinch, hence it went swimmingly for me. I've known my mark anyway: 90.
Well, I've been idle and not active recently due to some reason. I've got some problem I'm struggling very hard and some exam pressure that I look forward to eradicate. But I know happy hours await all of us, including me, and I'll strive to grasp them firmly in my hands.

Class Test 2, Day 1
Approximately three weeks to percubaan and yet we still need to sit for this class test. I've no idea why most people decide to forgo class test and yet our school still insists of having them. Anyway, here goes: The first paper of the day is BC. I really don't care much. I prepared myself for the worst - which is failing (actually, I should say I would definitely fail) this paper. And my prediction is correct, I'll undoubtedly fail. No argue. I estimate I'll score around 20-40, but I don't care. Percubaan is more important, class test is a waste of time and paper and brain energy. Second paper of the day: Modern Mathematics. Never mind the time, the questions are relatively easy, with one exception made for question number 6. The question that has been debating and final answer yet unknown. The third paper of the day: Physics. 30x3.33 = 100%. I love class test! (sarcastically and patronisingly).

HP7, Part 2
I presupposed this movie would be a jaw-dropping one, and it indeed is superb! No wonder it broke US box office, the movie progresses with an extremely slow pace but yet it successfully delivers all the thrills to the audience.
The movie literally begins where the first part ends. Then Harry (portrayed by Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (played by Rupert Grint) and Hermione (played by Emma Watson) infiltrate Bellatrix's vault, and their planned nearly failed, but Hermione's incredible intelligence saves all of them from a tragic death.
Then the story progresses to three of them going back to Hogwarts, and confronted by Snape, then Professor McGonagall, who is benevolent to a fault in her ripe old age, takes Harry under her wing and saved Harry from Snape. She knows Harry well enough to know he doesn't come back if whatever he's after for ain't important, and she is right - Harry is back in search of horcruxes.
Then the battle - the climax of the movie - begins. All the professors cast powerful spells to protect the castles from damages in order to buy some time for Harry to obliterate any horcruxes he could find, despite the chance of destroying them is screamingly slim.
But of course, movies aren't meant to be anti-climax. All three horcruxes are destroyed at the end, with the final horcrux remains sentient. And, of course, the main antagonist dies, in vain.
I liked the movie a lot, particularly when the protective spells are cast. Those trigger-happy students are so keyed up to fight even though they know they would die - there's what I call courageous.
I'm not a professional student and movie reviewers, I'm just an ordinary boy from an ordinary family with no knowledge about movie effects. Therefore I wouldn't comment on the direction, visual and sound effects.
To me, they are good. It's interesting how Voldemort decides to leave no stone unturned to search for Harry. Movies are really different from novels.
It's a pity those hapless students die in vain after they valiantly battled for Harry.
Many of the scenes are cut. I was anticipated to watch the battle between the three professors and Voldemort, but the part of the story is removed and replaced by the battle between Harry and Voldemort. They actually lengthen the fight. And the fight between Ron's mother and Bellatrix too is a bit of a let-down. Too short, too fast, too different from what is told in the novel.
93% of the movie are actions. This movie contains less humorous content compared to part 1, but the action scenes certainly aren't something to miss.
And I was wondering, how the hell did J. K. Rowling construct the storyline. They are perfectly written and somehow connected to each other. Each and every one objects and scenes is being brought up again in this movie, except the goblet of fire.
I simply love this movie. A strong A+.

Reasons Why I Like Band Formation
Do you know why I'm obsessed with Band Formation? This is because
1) I like the abrupt change of movements or shape. The way they change from one particular shape to another particular image is simply breathtaking.
2) I like how the formation suits the music. It's like dancing to the music, but in a more slow and impressive way.
3) I truly salute all of them for the hard work and time they sacrifice to work out these mesmerising performance. I've been involved in marching competition (simple marching), and yet I had to spend a lot of time to practise. So imagine band competition that takes around 100 people to co-operate, and to play musics in unison, and to walk neatly, flawlessly and to form shapes and images that would overwhelm the audience with amazement and excitement. This takes nearly 6 months and eight hours a day! Ergo, I salute them for their hard-work, for their cooperation, and most importantly, for their unwavering strength to move on, despite all obstacles that tend to shatter their determination and self-confidence. I salute you all!
Natcomp 2011 - Sekolah Tun Fatimah
Watch the percussion part! Jaw-dropping, but alas, not as good as Asma.
Natcomp 2011 - SMK Sultanah Asma
They literally grab away all the awards. No wonder they are the best band in Malaysia - just watch the video.
Natcomp 2011 - SMJK Jit Sin
For the first time, they manage to get themselves into top 5. I love the music (I regret what I said on my earlier post) but the formation was rather inferior and dull. But the precise movements and the neatness certainly deserve some applause, and they definitely have improved.

ICAS
Sorry for the delay. I was kinda busy and preoccupied with all the news pertinent to Bersih 2.0
Okay. On this Monday, we had ICAS English test. This year was particularly unique because the test took place in DK3. It's a relatively small room and 100+ students literally squeezed themselves in the seats for the test.
Well, since we paid to sit for the test, copying really didn't matter, right? It's your loose.
Well, I'll just say having a test in DK3 and it this exceedingly uncomfortable ambience was unlooked-for. And because time was scarce, I polished off the questions rather quickly, and therefore I had made some stupid mistakes.
The passages were fine, with only a few vocabulary I did not understand; but the questions were mind-bending. Anyway, the only comprehension that discombobulated me was the first passage. It ended with suspense, so I made my own speculation - a unique one, and one that is unlikely to spot-on.
Anyway, results are due on October. I aim for credit this year, and I hope I can get it.

Truth that Cannot Be Covered - Bersih 2.0 09/07/2011
Enough with your lies!
You can cover all the truth with laughable lies, but don't expect us to buy your lies implicitly/easily.
We are smarter than you think.
If you think the video is doctored, prove it instead of just calling it a 'fake'.
If it's not and it's authentic, please resign! Nobody supports you anyway.

Bersih 2.0
Prime Minister:
Bersih 2.0 asked for clean and fair election, one that ensures no corruption takes place, one that ensures the election is carried out without any dirty activities.
All they ask for is relatively simple, and yet you fail to notice that.
All you come out is Bersih is an illegal organisation, one that'll tarnish Malaysia's image. Ergo, you do whatever you're capable of to prevent Bersih 2.0 rally from taking place.
On that day, thousands of people gathered around to support Bersih 2.0. None of them were armed, none of them used force as a kick-start of the event. Everybody was peaceful, demonstrating calmly with no weapons slicing around.
But your response? Spraying tear gas and water cannon.
As a Malaysian, I'm truly disappointed by you. They've done no harm to the government, all they ask for is clean and fair election, and yet you reply with weapons.
And worse still, the government attacked a hospital, where the sick is seeking for treatment. The government certainly 'loves' their citizens.
This is a democratic country. We've the freedom to speak.
You said Bersih 2.0 would only cause harm and violence would break, but the violence I only saw was the act of police who sprayed tear gas and water cannon.
None of the demonstrators did any harm.
Thank you for showing us we are merely animals to you. Thank you for showing us how the government is afraid of losing in the next election.
And the most important: Thank you for showing us that Malaysians are truly united. This is the genuine 1 Malaysia spirit.
And Mr. Prime Minister, all lame reasons and lashes about Bersih 2.0, no matter how emotional or convincing they sound, would not affect a true Malaysian who has seen the real situation.
We know you're scared, we know you're losing, and that's why you come out with these ideas.
You no longer are revered, we no longer support you, particularly after 709.
You disappoint all Malaysians.
*All international response regarding Bersih 2.0, including Asian Human Rights Group, condemn the government for violating human rights.
*1 citizen died in the rally.
*None of the demonstrators caused any harm. On the other hand, those who should prevent any harm from transpiring, did the harm.
*The true 1 Malaysia spirit was seen during the rally. More Malaysians have begun to wake up from the government's failed brainwashing.
*In my opinion, Bersih 2.0 wasn't really much about fair and clean election. The organisation wanted to gather all Malaysians to show to the world that the government is already losing the election Everybody was demonstrating peacefully and they were undaunted by the police force as they valiantly marched through the streets, proudly showing to the world that Malaysians are truly united, and at the same time, the government doesn't love their citizens as they fired weapons and attacked hospitals, and the government is truly scared that they are losing their place. Thanks to Bersih 2.0, pro-government number is slowly dwindling, all thanks to government who showed their true face. I never felt so proud to be a Malaysian before! I love Malaysia! We are truly 1 Malaysia!

Around The Corner
The counter in the canteen makes me want to reminisce about the time I was a Caring Week committee, but I had gone through that before so I wouldn't do it again.
This year, new committees, but the same old programmes. The only thing I'm anticipating is the Canteen Day. Since this year is the last year I'm gonna stay in Jit Sin - okay, presumably the last year - I'm gonna spend all the money on foods.
Blood Donation Campaign was called off last year due to some unforeseen incidents. Hopefully, the campaign will be launched and carried out successfully this year and I truly hope the reception is good.
Are the committees rushing to do everything? Since the Caring Week is brought forward for about 2 weeks, I hope they ain't doing things in a tearing hurry. Anyway, I'll still support them. I'd been through that process, and it was awesome and I really love it!
Bent on doing your job guys!

Annoying People
I went to Queensbay today, and while I was in Popular selecting a reference book I chanced upon a boy who I presumed is sitting for SPM this year. He chose a lot of books, both reference books and exercise books, and then his mother came and talked so much I wanted to slap her.
I can't believe this type of mother - parents, to be precise, because his father is also annoying, but less exasperating than she is - exists. He chose a lot of books for revision, but then his mother said this publication publishes lousy quality/substandard book and she didn't want his son to buy them, but his son said the book was fine. Then her mother said to choose a book he should choose those publications that were at least known by public like Oxford or Pelangi. She said the other publications were not famous, so she conjecture they were of bad quality.
Then the most preposterous thing she said: All he needed to do for Sejarah was through doing past year papers. There was no need to read reference books, just do exercises and he would improve.
And she dragged on and on, and her son was gradually losing his patience and nearly went berserk. I pretend I needed to choose a book, and I stood there listened to their quarrel.
I wanted to interfere with their business and told his mother to shut up! Maybe I should have done so! Even my mother said I should do so (jokingly, of course)!
When she said those about publications, I wanted to say "Shut the F*ck Up!". Books are not about publications, but the authors. So what if the book is published by Oxford but written by a lousy teacher? The reference books I read are not known (as far as I'm concerned, the books that I'm using now are not used by others in my school) and yet I did quite well in my exam.
To choose a book, one needs to compare the content and see who the authors are. Not the publication.
And doing past year papers is enough for SPM examination? Lady, first of all, you know nothing about Sejarah. I know you mentioned you studied Sejarah before in your school life, but obviously you failed your Sejarah very badly and now you came out with a lie so ridiculous no one in the world would buy. Sejarah needs memorisation. You can buy all the exercise books at the bookstore, but you won't get an A if you don't read the textbooks or reference books.
And lady, QUESTIONS THAT WERE TESTED IN PAST YEAR SPM WOULD NOT BE TESTED AGAIN - at least not so soon. You know nothing, and you had the gut to make comments?
Your son is the one studying, let him do what he thinks is the best, okay? Save your dignity by speaking less, your ignorance reflects how bossy and annoying you are in other people's eyes.
The only thing deserved to be mentioned is that the annoying mother's son is filial enough to be patient with his parents. I could clearly see he was extremely irritated and decidedly annoyed, but he didn't raise his voice at all. She doesn't deserve a son like him.
