Tsunami Hit Japan

It's a heart-breaking news that had shocked the world. Japan was shaken by the destructive earthquake, and though most of the buildings had been firmly built, most of them were still obliterated. And now, it had been confirmed that the nuclear power had leaked, signifying another nightmare.

It's really painful to read such news, particularly after 261204. The aftermath shocked the entire world with sadness and pain that in no way we can describe.

Just pray that everything will be over and no more crisis will transpire. Hope for the best.

Heal the world, make it a better place! For you and for me and the entire human race!

Class Test 1 - Day 4

Do you know what I did when I first entered my class? I scrutinised everybody's eyes, and of course, most of them have black eyes. No, not because they've been punched square on their faces, but they burnt their never-depleting midnight oil.

But I didn't blame them. Biology and History combines together make an exceptionally horrible nightmare to all of us.

First paper of the day - Biology, the paper most people are terrifed of and most people worked hard for. The total marks for the paper was 25, and by multiplying it with 4, we get 100. Ergo, most people are deliberately pedantic to the teaching lest marks are deducted.

The paper turned out wasn't very challenging. But no 100 marks.

Second paper of the day - Sejarah. The paper was much easier compared to Biology, but still, my attempt to get 100 marks failed.

Class Test 1 - Day 3

The day began with the trying Malay paper. I said it was trying because we had to memorise 60 pepatah. The pepatah we wrote in our paper must be the same as those in longman, no flaws are tolerable - and yet they say we shouldn't rote learning. Rubbish!

The only thing that scared me was the unfamiliar sentence in the question. The pepatah was not tested, but I had no idea why the teacher set that. Anyway, bonus mark is the answer.

Second paper of the day - Chemistry. Though wasn't very tough, I had lost approximately 20 marks. More marks are yet to be found.

Only two papers for today. The rest of the day was spent by chatting and frolicking around, with the formal more interesting and the latter more dull.

Class Test 1 - Day 2

Sorry for the delay. I was a little busy yesterday.

The second day went quite well initially, but everything was crushed under Additional Mathematics as the day progressed.

English was quite easy, albeit I've made several mistakes, but it's still okay.

Pendidikan Moral is the most useless subject in the universe, but ironically it's the most important subject in SPM because its impact on our future is humongous. Anyway, the paper was fine, gladly.

Additional Mathematics, the subject the frightens many students, was the paper that made me nearly cried. I had confidence because Mathematics is so far my second strongest subject, but the questions in the paper were impossibly challenging and I panicked for the first time. You got me - FOR THE FIRST TIME! I never got nervous. The paper had me broken out in a sweat. Sweating bullets has never been comfortable, particularly during exams.

But everything has become the past. Let the past be the past (if only it can be so easy!)

Class Test 1 - Day 1

First paper of the day, also the first paper of almost every exam, is the mind-boggling and mind-bending chinese language. If you thought a Chinese should be able to do it well, you're wrong. Amongst the three languages we are learning, our weakest subject is Chinese.

As expected, I'm sure I flunk my Chinese. But because I had prepared myself for that, I feel fine.

Second paper of the day, Modern Mathematics. We were given 40 minutes to finish the paper, and nearly half of the class couldn't finish it in time. The questions are very tricky, and I'm pretty sure BHK was gloating in the office. The only way we could wipe the smirk away was by reducing mistakes that were so infinitesimal that nobody has ever bothered to look at.

Anyway, I've lost 2 marks. More marks are yet to be uncovered.

Third paper of the day - Physics. It went well and the paper, though wasn't a cinch, was rather challenging. This is one subject I'm sure I'll not fail - for now.

Class Test Around The Corner

Speaking of class test, it's everyone's nightmare. Well, virtually everyone. Who aren't afraid of nightmares? Class test has provoked many people to nearly go crazy - and this is only a class test - and many are still burning the midnight oil - the candle never seems to die off - to prepare and brace themselves for the class test. Ironically, not many are this nervous when mid-year examination lingers around the corner. While most students are teetering on the brink of breaking down, I'm here, my fingers lying on the keyboards, my eyes fixed on the monitor, updating my blog periodically.

Many students are under stress, I'm not saying I'm not, but mine is significantly less than theirs. The way my friends study is totally different from mine, and mine, though not exceedingly effective and working, is much easier and much interesting. This is how I study: I do not memorise facts, I do not memorise the steps, I read until I remember and I write using my language.

The pro is the study is easier, the con is many points are left out, losing some important marks.

The biggest challenge we have is the difficulties in memorising facts, particularly the infamous boring subject - Sejarah (History). The soporific effect is jolly intense, and you can amend the points. The facts are dead, unless overthrown by historians, but the possibility is minute and rather impossible.

Biology is another story entirely. Requiring a student to construct an experiment report without carrying out the experiment is simply ridiculous. It's like asking a doctor to perform a surgery without any surgical tools supplied. Stupid. Chinese language is, as everyone knows, extremely painful and challenging. Modern Maths is a cinch, and others are average. None of the paper is easy to score. Guess we all have to work hard this year! SPM is not something to be messed with.

I admit I'm a fan of Lady Gaga, but I'm not an avid fan. Therefore, I do not care the gossips about her, I only care about her musics.

Do you know why I brought the 'gossips' out? Because, many people say her music is a little racist, though allegedly, it still makes many people went berserk.

And I do not care if she's weird. That's her style. That's what make her unique and stand up amongst others. Just like Justin Bieber, but I don't appreciate and like his uniqueness. But there's no solid reason why I should hate him. I just simply don't like him.
