Great Trilogy

Working is no fun, and since what I do everyday is the same - the routine kills me - so I believe one post is suffice to summarise my job. Here I'm not going to dwell on about my tedious job, I'll talk about something entirely different - a trilogy that so far has captivated my attention for a very long time.

The Millennium series. A story about Mikael Blomkvist and Lisbeth Salander and the sinister presence surrounding Lisbeth. I believe I have introduced The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo in my earlier post. After the book I quickly went in search for the sequel: The Girl Who Played With Fire. To no avail, sadly. But thank God, my sister chanced on the book in her university book fair and bought it for me out of sheer benevolence. Thanks. =)

The moment I received the book, I flipped through it quickly and began to read all words in it. I simply couldn't wait anymore. The first book had an entire different storyline from the second, and the second one was full of climaxes and suspense. The story of the enigmatic protagonist begins to unravel and I was literally hooked up and completely absorbed into the novel.

The mysterious names - Zala, and the sinister organisation (at least to me, because I'm not familiar with it) - Sapo are something that makes the novel ominous and give a sense of foreboding. Things are not going smoothly for Salander and Mikael, where the former lady is somehow threatened and the latter one faces unparalleled challenges involving his personal life, his job, and the law.

Well, I don't want to drone on much about this trilogy, and I certainly do not wish to leak too much information about the trilogy. I'll just say it's a great trilogy, probably the best, and it's definitely worth the price to buy the books. You'll be totally absorbed! Highly recommended!

Tired

It has been tough. I mean life. Life has been tough, but nothing I couldn't handle. It's just plain boring.

What adults say are correct - studying is better, and will always be better, than working, no matter how much you despise studying now.

I'm now looking forward to Form 6. And since I've made up my mind that I would take up the challenge of 5 subjects, I aim to get 5As, even though I know it's a long shot, but I guess that is a risk I shall face with gallantry.

Looking forward to the school lives I'm now pining for. =)

Earthquake In Sumatera

I was reading a storybook when suddenly I felt the tremor. I thought I was feeling giddy because Malaysia never experiences earthquake, then I thought it's possible that Sumatra has been struck by an earthquake and therefore I felt the tremor.

I checked facebook, a lot of my friends felt it too, and then our suspicions were confirmed when BBC and Yahoo News released news pertaining to it.

Sumatra has been struck by a magnitude of 8.9 earthquake and tsunami alert has been issued. Anyone please refrain from going to beaches and be vigilant, tsunami might strike!
